St Joseph's Catholic Primary School

Together we grow in God's love, learning to be the best we can be.

Applying for a place

Our school is a Voluntary-Aided School, which means the Governors have responsibility for admissions to the school. In order to apply for a place in Nursery or Reception, you will need to complete a Supplementary Information Form (SIF) and provide a 'Certificate of Catholic Practice' from your Priest (if applicable) in addition to the standard application form from Hertfordshire County Council.  You can download the additional forms below, and once completed, they should be returned to the school office by the closing date of application in the academic year prior to the child starting either Nursery or Reception.

Please note: a place at Nursery DOES NOT guarantee a place in Reception and separate applications must be made. Please also remember to complete the Local Authority application.
