The children in our school are the most important people.  They have lots of opportunities to share their thoughts on school issues.

 

One of the House Captains’ biggest responsibilities of the year is organising our annual Charity Week. This year, we proudly supported Mary's Meals, who visited the school to speak to the children in preparation for the event. The charity explained that they provide daily meals to more than three million children around the world, and that it costs just £19.15 to feed one child for an entire year.

To raise money, our House Captains organised a range of exciting activities throughout the week, including quizzes, an own clothes day, cake sales, and the ever-popular “I’m a Teacher, Get Me Out of Here!” challenge, where teachers were put to the test!

Thanks to the enthusiasm and generosity of our whole school community, we raised an incredible £909.60. This amazing total will provide meals for 47 children for a whole year through Mary's Meals.
