Welcome back! Our topic this half term is called 'The Circle of Life' which is all about growing, life cycles and spring! This week, the children have been painting pictures of flowers, caterpillars, birds and butterflies in the style of Eric Carle.  Please see the topic overview below.

This half term we will also focus on using Phase 3 phonics to write simple sentences, thinking about using finger spaces, capital letters and full stops. Please continue to help your children become secure with the phase 2 tricky words and learn the phase 3 tricky words attached below.

In RE, we will be learning about Lent and how this is a special time to be thinking about kindness, helping others, and making good choices.
