Welcome to Reception!

We have had a busy few days getting to know the children and helping them settle into class. They have been exploring the classroom and are beginning to get used to the routines and expectations we have in Reception.

Below I have uploaded the phase 2 tricky words and the phase 2 phonics sound mat as mentioned in the ‘Meet the Teacher’ talk. Please use these to support your child when they begin to read and write. Please also find attached, the half term topic overview and some more information about the Reception baseline assessment.
