A very warm welcome to Year 4!
We have been working hard and settling in to the new routines and year 4 expectations. We have created our inspiring reading display to finish off the reading corner and have started to create a positive learning environment with lots of our learning on display.
Weekly events:
*FOREST SCHOOL and PE- will be on a Tuesday. Please send children to school wearing PE kit and trainers. Wellie boots to stay in school and a coat are advisable. Please send into school asap.
*SWIMMING- will be on a Wednesday for 3 weeks (10th, 17th, 24th September)- please ensure correct kit is sent into school.
*READING BOOKS- will be changed on a Thursday, however reading folders should be in school daily as there will be opportunities for extra reading throughout the week. If your child's book needs changing before a Thursday, they can let me know and put it in the basket to be changed in the morning.
*SEESAW- a weekly update will be sent at the end of the week so that you can find out what we have been up to. Individual messages may also be sent throughout the week by myself or your child to show you a particular piece of work etc.
*PURPLE MASH- a maths task will be set as a '2DO' every Friday to be completed by the following Thursday.
I am looking forward to getting to know the children more over the coming year and develop positive working relationships between school and home.
