Topic overview
Dear parents and carers,
I hope you had a restful and festive Christmas break.
Our topic this half term is Angry Earth, children will be learning all about natural disasters and applying this learning across the curriculum. In English the class will be writing Haikus and Tankas about earthquakes and Volcanoes. At the end of this this unit the class will have the opportunity to visit our local library and share this poetry and put up on display for the local community.
This half term ends with our parent consultations - again, more information to follow. I look forward to meeting you all and discussing the progress and achievements of the children this half term.
