Together we grow in God's love, learning to be the best we can be.
I hope you all had a restful half term and that the children are ready for second half of the Spring term.
Our topic this term is Mighty Metals, we have an exciting English unit to get us started based on the Iron Man, by Ted Hughes. Children will explore this adventure story and then write their own version of the story, creating their own character and setting. We will celebrate and share our stories by visiting the residents of our local care home for the elderly.
As mentioned at the parent consultations, I will be sending home fluency sheets for number bonds and setting additional maths challenges on purple mash so please support your child with this at home.
PE continues on a Thursday and Friday - Please send your child to school wearing correct PE kit and trainers.
FOREST SCHOOL continues to be on Fridays with Mrs Lacey - Your child will already by wearing their PE kit and trainers, arms and legs must be covered in the forest and outdoor shoes are advised,
READING BOOKS- will be changed on a Wednesday, however reading folders should be
in school daily as there will be opportunities for extra reading throughout the week.
Please keep an eye on Seesaw for updates on your child's learning
