Autumn 1

Dear parents/carers, 

Welcome to our autumn term. We are so excited to welcome you back to school and we hope you had a fun-filled summer. 

This half term, we have many things to look forward to. Our topic is Fairytales and we will be reading Rapunzel by Bethan Woollvin. We will be learning about the creation story in RE and testing many materials in Science to learn about their properties. Please read our topic overview for more in-depth information about our curriculum. 

On this page, you will also find other key information to help you with your learning at home, such as sound mats and common exception spelling words. 

Each week, Miss Mayes will be teaching on a Monday/Tuesday and Miss House will be teaching on a Wednesday/Thursday/Friday. Reading books will be changed on a Thursday.
