Together we grow in God's love, learning to be the best we can be.

Summer 1

Welcome back. Hopefully everyone enjoyed a restful Easter break and is ready for our final term.

We will be starting swimming this half term as one of our weekly PE lessons; our other being athletics, which I am sure the children will love.

We will have our class residential trip to Grafham Water this term, in June, so I will giving you more information about this in the coming weeks. I know the children are all very excited about this already.

Hopefully the children have been working on their spelling and reading challenges over the Easter break, so we'll have lots of certificates for Celebration assembly.

Our topic this half term is Revolution and linked to this is our history learning and our English. We'll be looking into our surroundings and the changes which happened locally due to the industrial revolution, particularly concentrating on railways. We'll be thinking about children living in the Victorian era and the jobs they had to carry out.

Hopefully the weather will continue to improve so that we really feel like we are in the summer term.
