Welcome to Nursery!

Dear Parents and Carers,

This is year is all about helping your child prepare for school.  They will explore and learn through play as well as learn the importance of listening and taking turns.  They will be encouraged to share their ideas, try new things and not give up when things are tricky. 

Nursery class are so lucky to have lessons from a music teacher once a fortnight and we will visit the Forest school every Friday.  This compliments the Literacy, Maths and RE lessons that are built upon throughout the year.

We look forward to sharing your children’s adventures with you.  In partnership with you we want to make this a great year of growth and development for your child. 

Finally, if you have an interesting job, hobby or can offer insight into a cultural experience for the children please let us know as it enriches the children’s learning and they always love visitors to the class.
