St Joseph's Catholic Primary School

Together we grow in God's love, learning to be the best we can be.

Autumn 2

We have had a busy start to the second half of this Autumn term. The children have been getting involved with the Amazon topic which will stretch across English, science and geography.

The children will make a trip to the Hertford museum to look at some real examples of animals (taxidermy) which they may not have been up close and personal with before. We will talk about life cycles, habitats and adaptations.

As is tradition, we will be part of the Advent Service at the church on the 13th December. The children will be learning their class rhyme, song and prayers to present on the night. It will be a beautiful event, I am sure.

Please continue to assist your children with their homework. They will inevitably need a prompt to get this done and this needs to come from home. It will all help their learning throughout the year, and beyond.
