Curriculum overview
Welcome back!
We hope you all had a safe, happy and holy Christmas break. We are very excited to begin our topic - Land Ahoy! This topic is all about pirates and will be most present in our Geography and English learning. We will also finish our topic with a pirate celebration day on Tuesday 13th February. More information will follow, but we do invite the children to come dressed as pirates if they wish. We will also make pirate hats and eye patches during school time, for children to wear who do not have a pirate costume.
This half term we will be continuing our learning on multiplication. This will be followed by division. In computing we will be learning about spreadsheets. In RE we will be beginning a new topic about our church community.
This half term we will also be having a design and technology week from Monday 8th January. During this week, we will be completing an exciting DT project. We would also love to invite you into the classroom on Friday 12th January at the end of the day, to see our DT learning. More information will be in a newsletter.
As you can see, we have much to be excited about this half term!
