Topic overview
Dear parents and carers,
Welcome back! I hope you had a restful Easter break.
Our topic this half term is called Tribal Tales. It is a very exciting and engaging topic where we will learn all about the prehistory period - The Stone Age to the Bronze Age. This is a history based topic but we will also enrich our learning, through the topic across the curriculum this term.
As a celebration at the end of the topic, the children will be visiting Celtic Harmony Camp to take part in an immersive Stone Age day.
Swimming is returning this term! We will also be having our extra PE session on a Thursday - please note the change of day. Forest School remains on a Wednesday afternoon - even in warmer weather children are required to wear long trousers in the forest.
We will be spending lots of time in forest school exploring plants, as part of our science topic.
