A very warm welcome to Year 4!

We have had a busy first few days back and have been working very hard. We have created our inspiring reading display to finish off the reading corner and have been setting the rules and expectations of Year 4. 

We have been finding out the units we will be learning about and have discussed the outcomes and knowledge organisers.

Weekly events:

*FOREST SCHOOL and PE- will be on a Tuesday. Please send children to school wearing PE kit and trainers. Wellie boots to stay in school and a coat are advisable.

*SWIMMING- will be on a Thursday for 3 weeks (12th, 19th, 26th September)- please ensure correct kit is sent into school.

*READING BOOKS- will be changed on a Thursday, however reading folders should be in school daily as there will be opportunities for extra reading throughout the week.

*SEESAW- a weekly update will be sent at the end of the week so that you can find out what we have been up to. Individual messages may also be sent throughout the week by myself or your child to show you a particular piece of work etc.

I am looking forward to getting to know the children more over the coming year and develop positive working relationships between school and home.

I look forward to seeing you at the 'Meet the teacher' session on Wednesday 11th September 5pm- I will add the powerpoint to this page later this week for anyone unable to attend and for your reference.
